The Harpswell Inn has a magical location; just steps from the water, lobster boats and gorgeous sunsets. Liz was a wonderful hostess upon our arrival and gave us great recommendations. Our 3rd floor rooms were fine. We anticipated a full breakfast rather than continental. The porch and other sitting areas are lovely.

Everything about our stay at the Harpswell Inn was wonderful! The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful with Adirondack chairs overlooking the water where we relaxed and read and just enjoyed the view and amazing sunsets. Our suite was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff and owners couldn’t be more friendly or hospitable. We also enjoyed the tasty breakfast in the dining room with yummy fruit and homemade granola and baked goods. We can’t wait to go back. Thanks to all who made our stay so special!

The Harpswell Inn is pure magic. From the moment we saw this place, we knew we had found the place, and it truly turned out to be the most perfect day imaginable. The property is stunning in every direction; every detail feels intentional, timeless, and infused with love. You can tell that Kelsey and John have poured their hearts and souls into every inch of this inn. The grounds are pristine, the rooms are beautifully designed, and there’s this peaceful, coastal warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. Kelsey is an absolute angel sent from heaven. She answered every (and I mean every) email with kindness, patience, and a level of care that went above and beyond. No matter how small my question or how many times I circled back for reassurance, she always met me with grace and positivity. That kind of genuine hospitality is something you can’t teach; it’s just who she is. John’s hard work and craftsmanship shine through in every corner of the property. You can see the thoughtfulness and pride in everything from the perfectly maintained gardens to the cozy, welcoming spaces throughout the inn. It’s a place that feels both elegant and deeply personal, like you’re celebrating somewhere that’s been loved for generations. Our wedding day at the Harpswell Inn was everything we dreamed of and more. It was relaxed, beautiful, and overflowing with joy. Every guest commented on how breathtaking the venue was, and I couldn’t agree more. Each and every one of us will be back for a visit!! Kelsey and John made our day truly unforgettable. The love they’ve poured into this place is so evident, and it radiates through the entire experience. I will forever be grateful that we got to start our marriage in a place that felt this special.

Absolutely love the Harpswell Inn! The location is gorgeous with amazing ocean views, and the inn itself is full of New England charm. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, each offering their own unique charm and flair. It’s minutes from beaches, hiking trails, and restaurants with plenty of lobster rolls. The innkeeper Kelsey, and her husband, are so friendly and welcoming, which makes visiting the Harpswell Inn even more lovely!!

I wish I could give more than five starts. We hosted our 25 person micro wedding at The Harpswell Inn last September and it could not have been more perfect. Kelsey, John and Archer all went out of their way to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable (many of whom flew across the country for our wedding). The actual Inn is gorgeous and you can see how much attention and care has gone into renovating the space. We loved giving our vows on the altar in front of the ocean. Kelsey is an amazing communicator and was so easy to work with, sign contracts with, get the details about the space, and made planning just so much easier. The Harpswell Inn will always have a special place in our hearts, so much so that my BFF is getting married there this year!

We had such an amazing stay at the Harpswell Inn. First of all, Kelsey, John, and the rest of the staff were fantastic — very friendly and welcoming. Secondly, the property is gorgeous. We were able to take a short walk down to the bay in the morning to walk along the rocks when the tides were out and enjoy the lawn chairs in the evening to watch a beautiful sunset — which is rare on the east coast, but the way the property is situated it sets right over the bay. The breakfast in the morning was perfect, with some delicious local ingredients our whole family enjoyed. Our kids loved the game room in the evening and had a blast running around the lawn. Overall, our stay was perfect and we would highly recommend staying at the Harpswell. We hope to return again!

My partner and I hosted our 25 person wedding at the Harpswell Inn...we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else! Every aspect of our weekend at the inn was perfect. The inn itself is gorgeous. The rooms are so thoughtfully designed and the grounds are beautiful. One of the best parts of the weekend was that everyone could hang out in rocking chairs on the porch, take out kayaks, or have breakfast together in the common room. It gave our family and friends so much more time together than a traditional wedding! When you arrive, you are greeted by the loveliest, warmest woman who makes you feel right at home. Breakfast was DELISH, everyone was commenting how much they loved the blueberry scones and fresh fruit ... the best "continental" breakfast of your life. Kelsey was amazing throughout the planning process, and was very attentive to our questions. She really went the extra mile...as soon as we checked in, she had a beautiful Harpswell Inn Boat Tote for us with the sweetest note! It was a perfect summer weekend in May in the most beautiful, serene location I could imagine. Please, check out the Harpswell Inn for your wedding!

I am a “frequent flyer” of the Harpswell Inn as I’m a wedding planner local to the area and often have clients that have their weddings here. I would say The Harpswell Inn is in my top 5 wedding venues. Not only are the owners amazing and accommodating, but they genuinely care about each couples big day going off without a hitch. It’s the perfect cozy little place to host your family and have the most special day of your life.
